Phindile Gwala is a South African actress, best known for playing the role of Nonny Nkosi on Sabc2’s Tshivenda soapie Muvhango from 2012 to 2017.

She rose to stardom back in 2012, when she scored the role of Nonny Nkosi on Sabc2’s Muvhango. Phindile resigned from the soapie after five years of being in the soapie.

She also starred on local tv show, Sabc1’s popular soapie Uzalo. Phindile currently stars on etv’s soapie Imbewu: The Seed, where she plays the role of Fikile.

The following year, she was cast as Zodwa on the Mzansi Magic soap opera The Queen, making her first appearance in the role in the Season 3 finale, which aired on July 26, 2019. She continued in the role in Season 4.
